The Mysterious Castle

Daunted, lonely, covered with vines;
Secluded, surrounded, by no streets or signs.
Behind is my past, and I want to walk foward.
Lush, overgrown green, is covering a door.
The master's key is hanging, I dare to learn more.
Parting my way ,I prick my finger on a thorn.
Oh I was born, to know more.

What was that inside? I here a mourn;
That is not a man.
Timid heart has clouded my bravery,
I thought hastily when I took this key.
Twist and turn, open the door,
I fear from here, my homebound return.

Echoes roar as I gaze inside...
A secret has been revealed,
A soul has been awoken.
Who is there? Are you going to show yourself?
Are you a man? Or something without a civil name?
I, dare to step in further....I hear no answer.

A fireplace burns and shunns my face,
And brutally warns my clothing of innocent lace.
I just close, my eyes, and dream I am home; I open my eyes....I'm not alone.
Who are you? A man mysterious as can be.
Will you speak? Or just stare up and down at me?
I, dare to stare longer.....A cold wind blew in.


My skin is trembled--my heart is troubled, yet my eyes are subtle,
To the tortured soul that stands before me.
His eyes pierce like a million flying arrows,
I'm surrounded by walls as black as vultured sparrows.
But I see a ray of sunshine,
A crack in the doorway is a spectrum of tranquility.

He's like the sun,
He's not pale, but dark and brutal.
And I dare say, it pleases me so.
Over my shoulder, is a window, covered by our shadows.
A green hillside, and an ocean tide, is hovered by freedom to go.
I turn and look at him one last time and speak;

My heart was melting, dripping, sinking...insided his home.
How can I ever go back home?
